You will never be at a loss to find something to do in the Cairngorms. Here there is the opportunity for you to go mountain climbing or bag a Munro or two, mountain biking or cycling in woods and forests, fishing or sailing, pony trekking, walking with the reindeer or visit the sled dog centre. Visiting wildlife safari parks or the Craigellachie Nature Reserve. Take in the scenery of the quiet lochs or take a boat ride. Play a round of golf or go gorge walking. Learn about the history of Scotland and take a tour around a castle or a famous battlefield. Explore film locations or tour the North Coast 500 and the Snow Roads.There is something for all; the Cairngorms are waiting to be discovered by you.

Walking: Carrbridge is a scenic drive away from 40 short walks in varying altitudes and environments between 1 and 4 hours long. Carrbridge now has a Chainsaw Carving Trail, where visitors can find over 34 carvings in and around the village, starting with a unique and wonderful carving in the car park. A wonderful family activity for all. The maps are available from the Atrists' Gallery, the carvers of this special installation celebrating the bridge's 300th anniversary..

Birdwatching & Photography Tours Full or half day trips for birdwatchers and photographers of all abilities.

Cycling: Carrbridge is within the 64km off road routes to suit all ages and abilities. These include the Route 7 cycle route, the Speyside Way and the Rothiemurchus & Glen Feshie trails.

Landmark Forest Adventure Park: Winner of the Daily Mail and Visit Scotland ‘Perfect Family Day Out Award’. This exciting park is set in 30 acres of pine forest in Carrbridge! It offers over 17 great and exciting attractions and the new butterfly house.

Golfing: There is no shortage of choices for golf courses to suit all handicaps; there are 46 wonderful golf courses to choose from; 11 close by, including Carrbridge, Boat of Garten, Grantown on Spey and Macdonalds Speyside course, to name a few.

The Whiskey Trail: Uisghe Beathe ‘The Water of Life’. Speyside is famous for its whiskey and is often called Malt Country. This is the world’s only whiskey trail with the oldest working distillery in the U.K. Also, take the time to visit the Speyside Cooperage, the only working cooperage in the U.K.

Airsoft: Airsoft friendly guest house, located close to UKARA and BAC fully registered airsoft site. Tazball Airsoft and paintball and lazer tag. We can provide accommodation for up to 12 team members and provide instruction on low level tactics, including IA drills, weapons transition, CQB tips to enhance individual and team skills.

RSPB: The famous RSPB Osprey centre is close by and the Cairngorms offer this and many opportunities for bird watchers to catch the glimpse of those special birds, including the crested tits, eagles and many, many more. Carrbridge offers the perfect base for all bird watchers.
